My fairly extensive image gallery will open in a new window if you click here or on the image on the right.
A large portion of the gallery is dedicated to my attempts at getting up close & personal with various arthropods. It also features images from recent vacations to places such as the Provence or Kauai. Please check it out and leave comments if you wish.
The gallery is powered by the free 4images gallery management system, runs on PHP and a mySQL database, is fully searchable, and you can leave comments as well. New: I've added a slideshow feature to my web gallery. It allows you to play all pictures of a category, or you can collect pictures you like in the 'lightbox', and then show your customized image collection in the shadowbox-based slideshow.
Macro photography
I've always loved macro photography but it used to be too expensive with old 35mm film. Now, a digital SLR (Nikon D70s) combined with a good macro lens (Tamron 90mm F/2.8 1:1 Macro) has finally made it possible for me to get decent results fairly cheaply.

Panoramic photos
These panoramas were mostly assembled with AutoStitch. The original files are of much higher resolution than the images presented below. Click on the images below to expand them. Once opened, you can navigate from image to image by pressing left/right arrow keys. Click and drag on an image to move around the panorama.
